A little further. Jesus pressed past the crowd, past His sleeping disciples, past the edges of what was comfortable, to find the place of true surrender. That further place is where the deepest prayers are prayed. It costs something to go there. But it is in that further place — face to the ground, fully yielded — where the will of God and the will of man are finally reconciled. Go a little further today. Lay down your will. His will is worth every step.
