This is perhaps the most honest prayer in the New Testament — and Jesus honored it immediately. The man did not pretend to have perfect faith; he surrendered his imperfect faith and his doubt simultaneously. That is what surrender looks like in the real world: Lord, this is all I have — my fractured belief and my admitted doubt. I offer it to You. Jesus never turned away a trembling, honest faith. Bring Him what you have today. It is enough.
