Weekly Meditation

  • A living sacrifice is the hardest kind — it can climb off the altar. Every day is a choice to return to the place of surrender and say again: Lord, I am Yours. Paul calls this reasonable — logical, expected — in light of God’s mercies. When you consider what He has done, complete surrender is not too much to ask; it is the only logical response. Today, present yourself again. Walk back to the altar. Lay down whatever you climbed off with yesterday.
